My name is Christey- I am a professor in cultural anthropology as well as a salsa dancer, instructor and enthusiast here in the U.S. I am currently writing an article on the spread of salsa in West Africa. I just returned from Ghana where salsa is alive and vibrant! It was beautiful to see Africans dancing to rhythms that originally came from Africa.
